About The Speakers
Ryan Buell grew up in South Carolina, where as a child he had several experiences. While in college, he founded the Penn State Paranormal Research Society. A few years after formation, Buell and team agreed to do a TV series based on their investigations for A&E called, “Paranormal State.” Buell allowed A&E to document their cases for five TV seasons. At 28-years-old, Buell is one of the most sought-out paranormal investigators within the world.
During the lecture, Buell goes over his best experiences throughout his 14-year career as an investigator (he started investigating when he was 15). “The one story that really sticks with people when I lecture are the demonic investigations,” said Buell, who shows both photographic and video evidence, along with written testimony from psychologists and forensic specialists when talking about the cases. “I think it’s because it makes them think a lot about spirituality, religion and the overall God debate. I like to think that I present a different view of religion and God/Devil when I talk about my research.”
Sergey Poberezhny is the Tech Manager/Investigator for PRS. Responsible for going over all evidence, Sergey has been responsible for finding and presenting some of the most compelling evidence from the PRS investigations. Born in the Ukraine, Sergey and his family fled Communist Russia rule and came to the United States when he was just 4. Growing up, Sergey was predominately an atheist, a belief that solidified once he became an adult. After coming to Penn State, Sergey joined up with the PRS team and started going on investigations. His belief system changed overnight when he had a major paranormal experience.
Naturally a skeptic, Sergey takes audience members through the process of discovering each piece of evidence, breaking it down frame by frame. Even though he ultimately encourages the audience to make up their own conclusions, he shows the “best of” evidence with the intention of making a compelling argument that the other side does exist.
Eilfie Music is the primary occult specialist in PRS, and Buell definitely calls upon her expertise on a regular basis. Growing up, Eilfie was taught by her late father, Dr. Music, who was very knowledgeable in various magical arts and occult practices. Eilfie’s primary role is to help look for any occult signs while on cases. Her next role is that of historical researcher. She spends most of her time in the libraries looking for documentation to back up claims made by clients, the psychics and/or witnesses.
Aside from talking about the occult aspect, and dangers of misuse, Music will also present compelling evidence and testimony that stretches beyond photographic/video evidence.
